Server Rules

The rules that keep our The Isle Evrima servers fair and fun. They apply in game and on our Discord. Not knowing them is never an excuse, so take two minutes.

General & Fair Play

🤝 Conduct

  • 1.1

    English in public. Global chat and public Discord are English only. Local in-game chat in another language is fine if everyone involved understands it; switch to English if a non-speaker joins.

  • 1.2

    Zero discrimination. Racism, sexism, homophobia or any hateful content is an instant permanent ban.

  • 1.3

    Respect others. No harassment, bullying, doxxing, threats or excessive toxicity. Keep drama out of public channels: open a ticket on our Discord.

  • 1.4

    Location. Sharing your own location is fine. Sharing someone else's without consent is punishable.

  • 1.5

    No begging staff for perks. Staff never grant grows, unlocks or items on request.

  • 1.6

    No advertising. Do not promote other servers, Discords or communities in our chats or DMs.

⚔️ Fair Play (zero tolerance)

  • 2.1

    No cheating. Hacks, macros, scripts or third-party tools that affect gameplay: permanent ban.

  • 2.2

    No exploits or bug abuse. Abusing known bugs or unintended mechanics (animation cancels, rock/terrain glitching, attack-speed tricks...) is punishable. Hunting for rule "loopholes" counts too.

  • 2.3

    No combat logging. Logging out during combat, a chase, or while being hunted is forbidden.

  • 2.4

    No body denial. Do not suicide off cliffs or into deep water to deny your body. (Aquatic species excepted.)

  • 2.5

    No bot abuse in combat. Do not use the shop, redeem, teleport or any command to escape, heal or gain an edge during or just before a fight. Spawning a juvenile to scout then redeeming to engage is not allowed.

  • 2.6

    No bypassing systems. No alt accounts to dodge bans, store dinos/currency, or bypass limits. One account, play fair.

Herbivore Rules

  • 3.1

    No carnivore alliances. Herbivores may never group, ally or assist carnivores.

  • 3.2

    Mixed herds. You may herd with other herbivore species, but keep it reasonable: max 3 different species and 6 dinos total.

  • 3.3

    Nest protection. Do not attack or raid other herbivore nests.

Carnivore Rules

  • 4.1

    No mixpacking. Carnivores group with their own species only: no cross-species packs, no herbivores.

  • 4.2

    Cannibalism. Allowed, but no betrayal: do not invite your own species to your group just to kill them.

  • 4.3

    Flyers. Pteranodon may not scout or relay info for others' hunts. Fly and fight solo.

Omnivores & Grouping

Omnivores

  • 5.1

    Beipiaosaurus. May group with any species.

  • 5.2

    Gallimimus. May group with herbivores only, never carnivores.

🦖 Grouping & Fights

  • 6.1

    Pack sizes. Follow the in-game group limits for each species. Swapping in and out to bypass a limit still counts as overpacking.

  • 6.2

    Third-party. You may interfere in fights between other species, but never in fights involving your own species.

Punishments & Appeals

  • 7.1

    Evidence. Report rule-breaks with in-game replays (F2) and/or screenshots showing names, through a Player Report ticket on our Discord.

  • 7.2

    Escalation. Warning, then temporary ban, then permanent ban, based on severity and history. Severe cases (cheating, ban evasion, extreme toxicity) skip straight to a permanent ban.

  • 7.3

    Appeals. Open a Ban Appeal ticket on our Discord with your in-game name, Steam ID and details. Be respectful: abusive appeals are closed.

  • 7.4

    Staff discretion. Staff may act anytime to protect the community, even outside this list. Their decision is final in tickets.
